Los Gatos Police Hosts Parent Project

Classes are ongoing.

Do any of these behaviors describe your child?

  • Arguing, not following house rules, or fighting
  • Poor academic performance, cutting classes or even refusing to go to school
  • In trouble at school with peers, teachers and sometimes being suspended or expelled
  • Suspected of drug or alcohol use
  • Regular contact with police because of their choices

If you answered in the affirmative, then the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Parent Project can help.

The 12-week program is offered one day per week from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is a nationally recognized program, which offers classes throughout Santa Clara County, according to information posted on the town's website.

The Parent Project was created specifically for parents with difficult or out-of-control adolescents and parents learn and practice specific prevention and intervention strategies for destructive behaviors.
