Los Gatos Police Blotter, Oct. 22-25: Body Found in Downtown Los Gatos

The following arrest information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Stolen Vehicle

  • An unoccupied vehicle was reported stolen at 9:27 p.m. Oct. 20 at 15166 Los Gatos Blvd.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen at 7:53 p.m. Oct. 5 at Stacia Street.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen at 7:49 p.m. Oct. 25 at Dardanelli Lane.

Vehicle Tow

  • A vehicle was towed at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 23 at 37 E. Main St.

Found Property

  • A set of keys were found at 900 No. Los Gatos Creek Trail at 10:36 a.m. Oct. 22.
  • A citizen reported finding a personal bag sitting unattended in front of her Vista del Monte residence at 8:18 a.m. Oct. 24.
  • A wallet that belonged to a Salinas resident was turned over to the Santa Clara County Fire Department headquarters in Los Gatos on Winchester Boulevard at 8:18 a.m. Oct. 26.

DUI

  • Alvino Jose Miguel Escobar, 27, 12:01 a.m., at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road/northbound Highway 17 and westbound Los Gatos Boulevard, for DUI.

Abandoned Vehicle

  • A vehicle was reported abandoned at 1:45 p.m. Oct. 18 at Towne Terrace.

Booted Vehicle

  • A vehicle was booted at 10:46 a.m. Oct. 23 at Tait Avenue.

Auto Burglary

  • Suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle on Oct. 23 and stole a bag contained gold jewelry, cash and credit cards at Vista Del Monte.
  • An online report of auto burglary was made at 2:17 p.m. Oct. 25 at Vista Del Monte.

Possession

  • Ruben Ramirez, 24, and Luis Moreno, 18, at 11:39 p.m. Oct. 23 at Verde Circle, on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance.

Death

  • A transient man was found dead in a public restroom from natural causes at 9:32 a.m Oct. 24 at No. Santa Cruz Avenue.

Identity Theft

  • A victim reported that a suspect attempted to make a fraudulent Internet charge using his credit card information at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 24 at Equestrian Way in Monte Sereno.

Hit-And-Run

  • A hit-and-run was reported at 10:17 a.m. Oct. 25 at University Avenue and Grays Lane.

Car Accident

  • Two vehicles were reported in a car accident with no injuries at 11:41 a.m. Oct. 7 at Los Gatos-Almaden Road and Carlton Avenue.

Grand Theft

  • An online report of grand theft was made at 2:26 p.m. Oct. 25 at Winchester Circle.

Theft

  • A report of a theft was made at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at 100 No. Santa Cruz Ave.

Commercial Burglary

  • A commercial burglary was reported at 9:10 a.m. Oct. 26 at 14830 Los Gatos Blvd.
