Los Gatos Police Blotter, May 31-June 2: Unrestrained Dogs, Cabs Crash, Man Brandishes Knife

The following arrest information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Possession

  • Michael David Ames, 50, 3:02 a.m. May 31, at Winchester Boulevard and Highway 85, was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after being stopped for a vehicle code violation and booked on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of meth and having a suspended license.

Vandalism

  • Gas station pumps were vandalized at 6:21 a.m. May 31 at 700 Blossom Hill Road.
  • Aaron Bruce Miller, 24, was arrested on suspicion of vandalizing a vehicle in a W. Main Street parking lot at 1:41 a.m. June 1.
  • An act of vandalism was reported at 11:40 a.m. June 2 at 216 No. Santa Cruz Ave.

Grand Theft

  • A grand theft was reported at 10:30 a.m. May 31 at 27 E. Main St.

Municipal Code Violation

  • A man was cited and released for two counts of a town code violation after he failed to restrain his dogs at 10:56 a.m. May 31 at 130 Forrest Hill Drive.

Missing Persons

  • A report of a missing juvenile was made online at 5:15 p.m. May 31 at 499 Loma Alta Ave.
  • A patient left a hospital and was reported missing and being an at-risk person at 2:03 p.m. June 1 at 15891 Los Gatos-Almaden Rd.
  • A desk report of a missing juvenile was taken at 3:17 p.m. June 1 at 499 Loma Alta Ave.

Found Property

  • A citizen found keys in San Jose and turned them into the Los Gatos Police Operations Building, 15900 Los Gatos Blvd., as found property at 5:18 p.m. May 31.

Traffic Accidents

  • A traffic accident between two cars was reported at 8:39 p.m. May 31 on So. Santa Cruz Ave.
  • A traffic accident took place between two cab drivers at 1:52 a.m. June 1 at Winchester Boulevard and Daves Avenue. There were passengers in both cars, but no injuries were reported. The accident was caused when one of the drivers made an unsafe lane change, according to a police report.

Vehicle Tow

  • A vehicle was towed at 1:11 p.m. June 1 at Whitney Avenue and Stacia Street.

Outstanding Warrant

  • Omid Fadavi, 37, 7:17 p.m. June 1, at 107 Leewood Court, was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for an outstanding arrest warrant.

Brandishing Knife

  • Brian Thomas Goffee, 32, 11:44 p.m. June 1, at 15 No. Santa Cruz Ave., was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of brandishing a knife toward staff members at the bar after being kicked out.

Public Intoxication

  • Spencer Ray Jugan, 23, 1:28 a.m. June 2, at 200 W. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
Assault/Domestic Violence

  • A 36-year-old woman was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of domestic violence at 5:04 a.m. June 2 at 425 Monterey Ave.

Safekeeping

  • A bike was stored for safekeeping at 11:36 a.m. June 2 after being found at 227 No. Santa Cruz Ave.
Court Order Violation

  • A court order violation was reported at 2:38 p.m. June 2 at 295 Casitas Bulevar.
Death

  • A person was found deceased in a home on Holly Hill Way at 5:13 p.m. June 2.
