Los Gatos Police Blotter, June 13-16: Vandals Break Retailers' Windows
The following arrest information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Petty Theft
- An online report of petty theft was made at 9:50 a.m. June 13 on Clearview Drive.
- A cell phone and currency were stolen at 3:24 p.m. June 15 at the Los Gatos Fitness Center on East Main Street.
- An online report of petty theft was made at 4:45 p.m. June 15 at Belgatos Park.
- An online report of petty theft was made at 9:51 a.m. June 14 on Belgatos Lane.
Grand Theft
- An online report of grand theft was made at 1:38 p.m. June 11 on Jo Drive.
Public Intoxication
- Viviane Catherina Cheney, 48, 2:34 a.m. June 13, at 10 Jackson St., on suspicion of public intoxication.
Mental Health
- An incident of mental health was reported with the patient being placed on a 72-hour hold at 7:58 p.m. June 13 at Ambassador Court.
Domestic Violence
- A man reported that he had a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend and that she stole a cellular phone the evening of June 13 on Monterey Avenue.
- A man requested prosecution of his ex-girlfriend for her repeated and ongoig violations of a criminal protective domestic violence court order at 8:27 a.m. June 15 on Monterey Avenue.
Unstable Person
- An unstable person was reported to police at 12:16 a.m. June 14 on Oka Road.
Missing Juvenile
- A juvenile was reported as a runaway at 9:29 p.m. June 14 on Highland Oaks Drive.
- A report was taken of two missing juveniles from EMQ at 12:50 a.m. June 16 at 499 Loma Alta Ave.
- Caroline Lyle, 52, a transient was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant at 3:19 a.m. June 15 at 423 No. Santa Cruz Ave.
- A male was located inside a locked central common area of an apartment complex with no reasonable purpose for being there at 6:29 a.m. June 15 on W. Main Street. A tool believed to be used to gain access to the area was found in his pocket.
- A vehicle was reported abandoned at 3:11 p.m. June 10 on Placer Oaks Road.
- A man was found deceased inside his home at 5:41 p.m. June 15 on Union Avenue.
- Michael Brandt, 65, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. June 15 on Almendra Avenue for a misdemeanor warrant issued for obstructing, resisting an officer.
- A desk item of found property was made at 4:10 a.m. June 15 on Elm Street.
- Large windows at three retailers were broken with projectiles causing approximately between $5,000 and $10,000 in damage at 1:53 a.m. June 16 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue.
- Unknown suspect(s) broke a W. Main Street business' window at 11:12 a.m. June 16.
