Los Gatos Police Blotter, July 10-15: Assault, Stalking, Prowler, Home Burglaries

Assault

• An unidentified suspect walked into a home on Farley Road and began punching the victim at 7:40 p.m., on July 10.
• A domestic violence incident was reported at 9:34 p.m., July 12 on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road.
• Dana Matt Theriault, 43, 10:23 a.m., July 15, on La Rinconada Drive in Los Gatos, arrested and booked into jail for domestic violence.

Stalking

• An unidentified victim reported being stalked at 9:17 a.m., July 10 at a home on Bruce Avenue in Monte Sereno.

Grand Theft

• An online report was made of a grand theft on Winchester Circle in Los Gatos at 7:59 a.m. on July 10.
• A laptop was reported stolen from the victim's vehicle on Massol Avenue in Los Gatos at 11:32 a.m., July 13.

Narcotics/Marijuana

• Police handled an unspecified event related to narcotics/marijuana at Bachman and University avenues in Los Gatos at 12:14 a.m., July 10.

Auto Burglary

• An unknown suspect smashed the window of the victim's vehicle and stole her purse at 11:22 p.m. July 11 on Winchester Boulevard in Los Gatos.
• A victim's car window was smashed and her purse and phone were stolen at 9:36 p.m., July 11 at 285 E. Main St. in Los Gatos.

Missing Juvenile

• A report of a missing teen was made to police at 3:32 p.m., July 11 at Loma Alta Avenue in Los Gatos.

Petty Theft

• Some stolen mail was found by a resident on Daves Avenue in Monte Sereno at 2:54 p.m. July 11.

Prowling

• A Reservoir Road resident in Los Gatos contacted police at 2:20 p.m. July 11 to report a possible prowler. The suspect is still at large and no evidence was collected, according to a police report.

Vehicle Code Violations

• Erik Alvarado, 20, 9:13 a.m., July 11, at Los Gatos-Almaden Road and Cherry Blossom Lane in Los Gatos, for a suspended license.

Vandalism

• An act of vandalism occurred at 11:16 a.m., July 12 at an undisclosed store on Blossom Hill Road in Los Gatos.

Stolen Vehicle

• A vehicle parked in front of a residence was reported stolen at 5:57 p.m., July 12 at Fancher Court in Los Gatos, which dead ends to San Benito Avenue.

Arson

• An unknown suspect started a fire in a garbage dumpster at 9:50 p.m., July 12 on Roberts Road.

Residential Burglary

• A home on Garden Lane in Los Gatos was burglarized at 11:09 a.m., July 12.
• A home's garage was burglarized by an unknown suspect at 12:04 p.m., July 14 on Natalye Road in Los Gatos.

Mental Health

• An mental health incident was reported on Los Gatos-Almaden Road at 10:53 a.m., July 13.

Restraining Order Violation

• A report was made of a restraining order violation on Jo Drive in Los Gatos at 11:21 p.m., July 15.
