Los Gatos Police Blotter, Jan. 8-16: Vandalism, Domestic Violence, Vehicle Theft

Sunday, Jan. 8

12:42 a.m., Unknown location on Broadway: A vehicle's rear window was broken by a suspect in an incident of vandalism.

5:48 a.m., Arroyo Grande Way and La Canada Court: After police received a report of two suspects rummaging through vehicles and located stolen property in their vehicle, Ryan Green was arrested for possession of stolen property, vehicle tampering, and theft.

6:55 a.m., Unknown location on Winchester Circle: An incident of vandalism was reported from four days earlier.

7:06 a.m., Unknown location on Oakland Place: An incident of grand theft was reported from a week earlier.

7:50 a.m., Union Avenue and Downing Oak Court: Cash was found on the road.

8:53 a.m., Unknown location on Blueberry Hill Drive: A woman was notified that police had discovered a suspect in possession of her credit cards. None of her cards were missing, so police determined her to be a victim of identity theft.

9:19 a.m., Unknown location on So. Kennedy Road: Mail was reported stolen from a curbside mailbox.

10:03 a.m., Unknown location of University Avenue: An incident of vandalism was reported from the day before.

11:33 a.m., Unknown location on University Avenue: A theft was reported as having occurred from an unlocked vehicle.

12:21 p.m., Unknown location on Vista Del Monte: In an incident of felony vandalism, beer bottles and eggs were thrown at a vehicle overnight.

2:21 p.m., Charter Oaks Drive and Almond Hill Court: A vehicle theft was reported.

4:26 p.m., Unknown location on Pinehurst Avenue: A person was reported missing.

6:21 p.m., Unknown location on No. Santa Cruz Avenue: After reports of a disturbance, police arrested David Niemiec for being drunk in public.

Monday, Jan. 9

7:54 a.m., 14850 Oka Rd: In an incident of domestic violence, a male threw a female against a wall, causing pain and visible injury. John Garrett was arrested by police.

 9:09 a.m., 167 Las Astas Dr: Electronic items were stolen from inside a vehicle.

12:56 p.m., 200 Winchester Ci: Two bicycles were reported stolen in an incident of grand theft.

3:14 p.m., 470 N Santa Cruz Ave: Money is reported stolen in an incident of petty theft.

3:53 p.m., 15563 Union Ave: After an alarm was activated at a business, police found the doors open and sunglasses stolen from the display cases.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

4:51 p.m., 15047 Los Gatos Blvd: In an incident of harrassment, a suspect made threatening phone calls to a victim.

Thursday, Jan. 12

7:36 a.m., 107 Oak Rim Ct: In an incident of vandalism, tires on a vehicle were punctured by a suspect.

Friday, Jan. 13

2:34 a.m., Lark Avenue and Los Gatos Blvd: Carla Ann Vandermate was arrested for being drunk in public.

3:37 p.m., Blossom Hill Road and Los Gatos Blvd: Julio Gaspariano Galinda was arrested for driving under the influence.

9:05 p.m., Carlton Avenue and National Avenue: Nicholas Joseph Reed was cited for shining a laser at motor vehicles.

Saturday, Jan. 14

10:18 p.m., Lark Avenue and Oka Road: After reports of a suspicious vehicle, police found a driver to be the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon.

10:56 p.m., 15771 Los Gatos Blvd: Cameron Alexander Mardis and Desiree Rosalie Sousa were cited for possession of marijuana.

Sunday, Jan. 15

2:17 a.m., 15 No. Santa Cruz Ave: A wallet was found.

8:12 a.m., 15 Highland Ave: An incident of vandalism was reported from the end of December.

7:59 p.m., 116 Spring St: In an ongoing investigation, mail was found in bushes.

11:42 p.m., 15043 Los Gatos Blvd: After a verbal argument in a bar, a victim was struck by an unidentified suspect.

Monday, Jan. 16

2:47 a.m., No. Santa Cruz Avenue and Bean Avenue: Jeremy Martin Schultz was arrested for driving under the influence.

8:50 a.m., Mariposa and No. Santa Cruz avenues: Michael Andrew Kingston was booked into jail for an outstanding warrant.

10:08 a.m., 105 Highland Oaks Dr: Personal property was stolen from a vehicle.

1:40 p.m., Unknown location on Loma Alta Avenue: An incident occurred involving a missing juvenile.

1:56 p.m., 201 No. Santa Cruz Ave: A bike was stolen in an incident of petty theft.

10:44 p.m., 115 Highland Oaks Dr: Elsa Tanig Baber was arrested for domestic violence.
