Los Gatos Police Blotter, Dec. 5-9: Catalytic Converter Thefts Reported

The following arrest information was supplied by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 5

6:58 a.m., 118 Boyer Ln: An incident of petty theft occurred.

12:38 p.m., 20 High School Ct: A student was contacted and found to be in possession of alcohol.

1:21 p.m., 125 Stacia St: An incident of residential burglary was reported.

3:27 p.m., 110 E Main St: A suspect, Ryan Joaquin Wolff, surrendered himself for having two warrants for his arrest.

8:00 p.m., 232 University Ave: An incident of petty theft occurred.

8:22 p.m., 135 Riviera Dr: A woman reported an incident of stalking involving her ex-boyfriend.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

4:30 a.m., 859 University Ave: An incident of auto burglary occurred.

8:02 a.m., 125 Vista Del Campo: In an incident of vehicle tampering, a catalytic converter was stolen off a woman's vehicle.

8:09 a.m., 16776 Potter Ct: A vehicle was reported stolen but was later recovered.

8:15 a.m., 15215 National Ave #204: An incident of petty theft occurred.

8:27 a.m., 14410 Blossom Hill Rd: A missing item was reported.

10:02 a.m., 16883 Spencer Ave: A catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle. The property is still outstanding.

10:09 a.m., University Avenue and Andrews Street: A wallet was found.

11:33 a.m., 15310 Kennedy Rd: After an incident of domestic violence, a man was arrested when police determined him to be the aggressor. Charges were never filed and the case has been dropped.

12:48 p.m., 227 More Ave: An incident of vandalism was reported online.

12:57 p.m., 136 Tait Ave: A watch was stolen.

3:09 p.m., 105 Forrest Ave #18: A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. The property is still outstanding.

10:17 p.m., 135 Riviera Dr #435: A catalytic converter was stolen from a parked truck.

Wednesday, Dec. 7 

1:23 p.m., 17155 Pine Ave: In an incident of identity fraud, a victim's credit card number was used by an unknown suspect. 

3:02 p.m., 401 Dardanelli Ln: An incident occurred involving a restraining order that allows for peaceful contact.

8:36 p.m., 3 Kimble Ave: A suspect made threats.

Thursday, Dec. 8

12:12 p.m., 15466 Los Gatos Blvd: A passport and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle.

6:26 p.m., Blossom Hill Road and Oak Meadow Drive: A minor car accident occurred, and police determined a driver, Brian Akira Lawrence, to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested.

10:32 p.m., 14298 Lora Dr: It was reported that a woman was a victim of assault by her ex-boyfriend during a domestic disturbance at his home.

Friday, Dec. 9

12:31 a.m., Los Gatos Boulevard and Samaritan Drive: In an incident of narcotics possession, police smelled marijuana in a car and arrested passenger Francisco Luis Garcia after locating methamphetamine paraphernalia on his person.

1:36 a.m., Ashler and No. Santa Cruz avenues: Liem Thanh Tran was arrested for driving under the influence.

1:46 a.m., 102 So. Santa Cruz Ave: A male subject followed two females into a parking lot, exposed himself, then fled the scene before police arrived.

2:00 a.m., 102 S Santa Cruz Ave: Wesley Charles Martines and Nicholas Edward Alviso were arrested at a downtown bar. One was arrested for robbery, burglary, and possession of stolen property; the other was arrested for battery and being drunk in public.

3:25 a.m., 23 No. Santa Cruz Ave: An incident of commercial burglary occurred.

2:21 p.m., 15047 Los Gatos Blvd. #200: A recent incident of prescription forgery was reported.
