Los Gatos Police Blotter, April 20-29: Public Intoxication, Vandalism

Friday, April 20

1:02 a.m., North Santa Cruz Avenue: Cathleen Ann Nysewander was found drunk on the ground, yelling and swinging at those trying to assist her. During the arrest, she attempted to resist by kicking, biting, and spitting at police officers.

2:47 p.m., Parkside Court: A victim's identity was used without her consent.

4:36 p.m., Belgatos Lane: Two sign boards and a bathroom door at a park were spray painted in an incident of vandalism.

6:07 p.m., Newell Court: A name, social security number and address were used fraudulently to file a tax return in an incident of identity theft.

9:28 p.m., North Santa Cruz Avenue: An ATM card was found at an ATM machine.

11:46 p.m., Loma Alta Avenue: A juvenile runaway was reported.

Saturday, April 21

4:44 p.m., SB 85 from Los Gatos Boulevard: Terriann Marie Maxwell was cited for driving with a suspended license.

4:45 p.m., Edelen Avenue: A bicycle was reported stolen.

9:07 p.m., Oka Road: David Edward Siler was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

9:51 p.m., Saratoga-Los Gatos Road and Ridgecrest Avenue: A driver, Brandon Hoffman, was cited for marijuana possession.

11:21 p.m., Oka Road: After a disturbance was reported, police found multiple subjects who were drinking in public. One of them, Esteban Valdez, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, in possession of paraphernalia, and in possession of a usable amount of methamphetamine. He was arrested.

Sunday, April 22

6:27 a.m., Winchester Circle: A petty theft incident was filed online.

6:30 a.m., Cambrian View Way: A petty theft incident was filed online.

6:32 a.m., Winchester Boulevard: A vandalism incident was filed online.

7:58 a.m., North Santa Cruz Avenue: A restaurant was broken into in an incident of commercial burglary.

5:33 p.m., FIsher Avenue: A petty theft incident was filed online.

7:00 p.m., Loma Alta Avenue: A juvenile runaway was reported.

Monday, April 23

10:19 a.m., N Santa Cruz Avenue: Christopher Albert Blatnik was contacted by police in front of a business and found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for being drunk in public.

10:36 a.m., University Avenue: An embezzlement was reported. The suspect, Krystyna Galvan, was cited.

Tuesday, April 24

12:57 p.m., Avery Lane: Property was reported stolen from a vehicle.

Wednesday, April 25

1:09 p.m., Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and N Santa Cruz Avenue: A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle but located in a suspect's vehicle later.

3:18 p.m., High School Court: A wallet was stolen from a parked vehicle.

8:53 p.m., Via Sereno: A necklace was reported stolen in an incident of grand theft.

Thursday, April 26

3:58 a.m., Bean Avenue: An incident of found property involving an intoxicated person was reported.

9:01 a.m., Frank Avenue: A juvenile was reported as a runaway.

12:51 p.m., Roberts Road: A victim's personal information was used to open an account in an incident of identity theft.

1:16 p.m., W Main Street and University Avenue: Salvador Thomas Valentino was cited for driving with a suspended license.

1:35 p.m., Loma Vista Court: A mental health incident was reported.

Friday, April 27

1:18 a.m., Blossom Hill Road and Camino Del Cerro: A missing subject was found and reported.

9:06 a.m., Capri Drive: A telephone system was reported stolen in an incident of commercial burglary.

10:06 a.m., Golf Links Drive: A grand theft incident occurred.

Saturday, April 28

2:17 a.m., 55 Los Gatos-Saratoga Road: Robert Reinhardt was arrested for being drunk in public.

6:08 a.m., Johnson Avenue: A vandalism was reported.

12:53 p.m., Castlewood Drive: Ski equipment was reported stolen in an incident of grand theft.

3:33 p.m., Los Gatos-Almaden Road and Taft Drive: Timothy Lee Hoogesteger was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

4:44 p.m., Cherry Blossom Lane and Blossom Hill Road: A parked car was keyed in an incident of vandalism.

5:57 p.m., Stacia Street: A voluntarily missing person was reported.

10:42 p.m., Pinehurst Avenue: A mental health incident ocurred.

Sunday, April 29

2:02 a.m., University Avenue and Elm Street: Brandon Austin Gletzer was arrested for driving under the influence.

1:53 p.m., Newell Avenue: A theft and a vandalism were committed in an incident where a suspect violated a court order. 

5:58 p.m., Highland Avenue: Gift cards were stolen from a vehicle in an incident of grand theft.

9:54 p.m., Corinne Drive: A bicycle was reported found.
