Los Gatos Police Blotter, April 2-4: Rash of Auto Burglaries Reported

Auto Burglary

• An online report of auto burglary was made at 10:43 p.m. March 30 on Winchester Boulevard.
• An online report of auto burglary was made at 11:41 p.m. April 2 on Winchester Boulevard.
• An online report of auto burglary was made at 3:04 p.m. April 3 on Rose Court in Monte Sereno.
• An auto burglary was reported at 7:14 p.m. March 4 on Oka Road. Vehicle owner reported his car's window was broken and a bag was missing.
• An online report of auto burglary was made at 1:04 p.m. April 4 on Willow Hill Court.
• An online report of auto burglary was made at 7:30 a.m. April 4 on Massol Avenue.

Vandalism

• An incident of vandalism was reported at 6:42 a.m. April 2 on Blossom Glen Way.
• An incident of vandalism was reported at 4:02 p.m. March 31, no address given.

Petty Theft

• A citizen reported a theft from a vehicle at 8:47 a.m. April 3 on May Avenue in Monte Sereno.
• An online report of petty theft was made at 2:59 p.m. April 2 on Pollard Road.
• A victim stated he didn't make transactions over the Internet in an incident of petty theft at 7:23 p.m. April 3 on Lora Drive.
• An online report of petty theft was made at 12:03 p.m. April 4 on Glen Ridge Avenue.
• An online report of petty theft was made at 1:34 a.m. April 4 on Glen Ridge Avenue.

Found Bike

• A citizen reported finding a bicycle in front of his residence at 12:10 p.m. April 3 on Zena Avenue in Monte Sereno.
• A found bike was reported at 11:10 a.m. April 4 on Regent Drive.

Vehicle Tampering

• An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred at 8:35 a.m. April 2 on Francis Oaks Way. The unknown suspect fled the scene.

Vehicle Recovery

• Dusty Joe Regier, 33, 12:33 a.m. April 3, at Mariposa Avenue and No. Santa Cruz Avenue, was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail following a traffic stop which revealed the vehicle he was driving was stolen out of Santa Cruz. He was also arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, being an unlicensed driver and violation of parole.

Stolen Vehicle

• A vehicle was reported stolen at 12:14 p.m. April 4 on Belhaven Drive.
• A vehicle was reported stolen at 9:08 a.m. April 4 on Topping Way.

Grand Theft

• An online report of grand theft was made at 10:15 a.m. April 4 on Garden Lane.
