Los Gatos Police Blotter, April 19-24: Firearm Turned In For Destruction

Assault/Domestic Violence

• Byung Hoon Lim, 27, 10:37 p.m. April 19, on North Santa Cruz Avenue, on suspicion of domestic violence after an altercation witnessed by several persons.
• An unidentified person was assaulted by three suspects at 11:19 p.m. April 19 on Los Gatos Boulevard.
• Jeffrey Scott Rix, 47, 9:22 p.m. April 23 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue, was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of spousal battery.
• An incident of assault/battery was reported at 9:28 p.m. April 23 on Vista Del Monte.

Grand Theft

• A possible grand theft occurred at 9:10 a.m. April 20 on Bicknell Road in Monte Sereno.
• An unknown suspect stole a woman's unattended purse and contents from a bar and ran away at 2 p.m. April 21 on So. Santa Cruz Avenue.

Petty Theft

• A cell phone was stolen from an unattended shopping cart at about 8:30 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard.
• A wallet was stolen from a purse while its owner was shopping and a credit card was used illegally a short time later at about 9 a.m. April 22 on Los Gatos Boulevard.
• A suspect entered a business on No. Santa Cruz Avenue at 6:42 p.m. April 25 and stole an unidentified amount of items.

Mental Health

• A mental health incident was reported at 12:57 a.m. April 21 on Calle Marguerita.

Found Property

• A cell phone was turned in to police by a library employee at 1:43 p.m. April 21 on Villa Avenue.
• A firearm was turned in for destruction at the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Operations Building at 10:45 a.m. April 23 at 15900 Los Gatos Blvd.
• A wallet was found and turned in to authorities at 8 p.m. April 25 on Blossom Hill Road.
• Property found at 2:39 p.m. April 25 on Montebello Way was booked by police for safe keeping.

Missing Person

• A juvenile was reported missing at 7:14 p.m. April 22 on W. Parr Avenue.
• A report was taken for a missing person who subsequently returned home at 9:13 p.m. April 24 on Blossom Hill Road.
• A missing adult from San Jose was located and removed from the missing persons system at 8:41 p.m. April 25 at Blossom Hill Road and Francis Oaks Way.

Minor Injury Accident

• A minor injury accidents was reported at 3:54 p.m. April 23 at Lark Avenue and Highland Oaks Drive.

Possession

• Christina Noakes Scroggins, 31, 9 p.m. April 24 at Pollard and Burrows roads, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
