Los Gatos Police Arrest Drugged Felon With Stun Gun, Knife

Suspect is taken into custody April 8 and is charged with impersonation, probation violation, being under the influence of a controlled substance and weapons violations.

A convicted felon with four outstanding warrants was arrested earlier this month with various weapons by Los Gatos Monte Sereno police during a vehicle stop.

Richard Peter Kiska, 29, was taken into custody at 1:15 a.m. April 8 at Los Gatos Boulevard and Shannon Road after the driver of the car he was traveling in was stopped by police.

After officers determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance, they also discovered he was in possession of a concealed fixed-blade knife and a stun gun, a police report said.

During the booking process, Kiska also provided the name of a friend instead of his own and was charged with impersonation, the report added.

During the arrest, officers also learned that Kiska had four felony warrants out for his arrest and was on probation violation in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties, according to police.

After police determined he was a convicted felon, a warrant was requested for the false identification and being in possession of a stun gun while being a felon.

Ditto that! We have a great Police Department that continues to keep us safe. I'd like to think that we all keep them safe as well!

My question is how was this Felon able to purchase a weapon? Unless this person did it "Under-ground". Apparently it is quite easy to obtain just about any thing you want....
