Six car burglaries were reported this week, and with the coming holiday weekend, it's important that residents keep anything that might tempt burglars out of sight in their cars.

Possession

12:05 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20

A teen driver was stopped for traffic enforcement reasons on Blossom Hill Road and was found to be in possession of marijuana with the intention to sell.

Fraud

12:01 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20

A credit card number was used to make a purchase at a gas station without the owner's knowledge.

Assault

12:24 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

Two men were arrested on North Santa Cruz Avenue: one for assault with a deadly weapon, violating parole and being under the influence of a controlled substance, and the other for public drunkenness.

Found Property

9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

A cell phone was found on the sidewalk near 26 N. Santa Cruz Ave. The owner is unknown.

DUI

6:42 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

A man was arrested on Los Gatos Boulevard for driving under the influence.

DUI / Accident

7:09 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

A driver was seen crashing his vehicle into a cement pillar after driving recklessly on Wedgewood Avenue. After police showed up at his house, he was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

Missing Person

3:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

An at-risk elderly woman was reported missing on Meadowbrook Drive but was found the next morning at her church in San Jose.

Public Drunkenness

9:46 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

A homeless man was arrested on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road for being drunk in public and for a parole warrant.

Auto Burglary

Between 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, and 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

A vehicle was robbed on Bacigalupi Drive.

Identity Theft

7:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17

After credit cards were misplaced on Camino Del Cerro, the victim noticed police that they had been used to make fraudulent purchases.

Auto Burglary

Between 10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, and 2:19 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17

A vehicle was burglarized on Johnson Avenue.

Assault

11:24 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17

A fight took place outside C.B. Hannegan's Bar on Bachman Avenue.

9:56 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17

A car was reported as having been recently burglarized on Vista Del Mar.

Between 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, and 6:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17

A vehicle was robbed on Lilac Way.

Vandalism

Between 11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 and 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17

An incident of vandalism occurred on Carlton Way.

Between 11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 and 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17

A vehicle was robbed on Cherrystone Drive.

Possession

5:57 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15

After being stopped for a vehicle code violation on Winchester Boulevard, a driver was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Auto Burglary

8:59 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15

A car window was smashed and a laptop was stolen from it on Los Gatos Boulevard.

Drug Possession

8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14

A probation search ended in the discovery of a small amount of marijuana on Orchard Meadow Park.

Petty Theft

5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14

A customer wore a new pair of shoes out of a shop on Los Gatos Boulevard without paying for them.

Mail Tampering

4:28 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14

Mail was reported stolen from Wild Way.
