UPDATE: Lanes Cleared After Injury Crash on Hwy 17


UPDATED: Sunday, July 20, 11:30 a.m.

All lanes have reopened on state Highway 17 in Los Gatos this morning after a solo crash blocked a lane and left one person with reported injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. when a car veered off of Highway 17 near the Lark Avenue off-ramp and into some bushes off of the roadway, according to the CHP.

An ambulance was called to the scene and witnesses reported seeing an elderly person inside the vehicle who was bleeding, according to the CHP.

A southbound lane of the highway was temporarily blocked but all lanes were open as of 11:10 a.m., the CHP is reporting.

A one-car crash this morning has left one lane of state Highway 17 in Los Gatos blocked and one person with reported injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. when a car veered off of Highway 17 near the Lark Avenue off-ramp and into some bushes off of the roadway, according to the CHP.

An ambulance was called to the scene and witnesses reported seeing an elderly person bleeding inside the car with possible leg injuries, according to the CHP.

The scene of the crash was still blocking a southbound lane of the highway as of 10:45 a.m., the CHP is reporting.
