Four Suspects Crash During Los Gatos Police Pursuit

Three women and one man are alleged to have attempted to evade police, stolen mail and being in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools; two suspects had warrants for their arrest.

Four suspects crashed a car in Los Gatos last Monday after trying to evade police, but were later arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police tried to stop the three women and one man in the car during the wee hours of the night Sept. 17 for vehicle code violations, but as soon as the stop was initiated they fled the scene and a pursuit began, according to a police report.

During the chase, which began before 1:44 a.m., the suspects threw mail from the vehicle, the report said. They then crashed and were arrested at No. Santa Cruz and Almendra avenues, in the heart of downtown.
