Car Crashes Into Los Gatos Home

A woman suffers a medical condition while driving, losing control of vehicle; no injuries reported.

A car barreled into a house at  Escobar Avenue destroying the exterior bathroom portion of the property the evening of May 31, according to Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police.

The 2010 silver Chrysler Seebring rammed into the dwelling at about 10:30 p.m., fortunately sparing the driver and the home's occupants of injuries, said police Sgt. spokesman Stephen Walpole.

The driver, who was not charged with any crime, suffered a medical condition, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle, Sgt. Walpole said.

Los Gatos Patch readers had asked about the incident and police released the information Friday about the accident.

Two LGMSPD officers assisted the 44-year-old driver at the scene and Santa Clara County fire first responders also helped during the incident, Sgt. Walpole said.

The woman was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.
