4 Arrested in Los Gatos on Meth, Heroin Charges

Traffic stop yields to discovery of highly addictive drugs, paraphernalia; three suspects 21 and under.

Four people, including a woman and a convicted felon, were arrested this month on suspicion of being in possession of meth and heroin for sale.

In the first incident, which occurred at 8:51 p.m. June 6 on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police arrested a couple after a traffic stop that led to the discovery of meth and evidence it was possessed for sale.

Taken into custody and booked into Santa Clara County Jail were Kimiya Kiyarash, 19 and Alex Dean Santos, 44.

Santos is a convicted felon who was also found to be in possession of ammunition, marijuana and morphine pills and driving with a suspended driver's license, according to a police report.

In the second incident, which occurred at 10:04 p.m. June 11 on West Parr Avenue in Los Gatos, two men, Garreth Arthur Bowman, 19; and James Barton Grossman, 21, were arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail following a vehicle stop.

Bowman, who was driving, was found to be in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Grossman, his passenger, was arrested for possession of heroin, meth for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance, a police report said.
