Los Gatos Park Dance was a huge success!

Local residents love community musical gatherings and it showed on Saturday night at the inaugural Los Gatos Park Dance in Oak Meadow Park. The event was a overwhelming success!  The park was full of dancers and music lovers enjoying Los Gatos’ own The Houserockers.  The band out did themselves by providing a high energy rock and soul show that people danced to and sang along with all night.
A special thanks to our Sponsors, who, without them, this event wouldn’t have been able to be kicked off the ground; Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, Los Gatos Lions, Los Gatos Kiwanis Club, Los Gatos Morning Rotary, Sweeny, Mason, Wilson, and Bosomworth, and Rotary Club of Los Gatos.
Looking forward to next year!

Thank you so much for posting this update of the event, Sharon! Much appreciated! Thank you also for all your hard work in organizing it. I heard great reviews about it this week from townsfolk I talked to. What a cool way to kick off the Labor Day weekend festivities! Thank you.

I wanted to go, but it was the same time as the Santa Clara Valley Square Dancer's Association Fifth Saturday Whing Ding. Maybe some day there will be square dancing at the Los Gatos Park Dance, too. http://losgatos.patch.com/groups/around-town/p/square-dancing-in-los-gatos
