1899 Louise Van Meter Classroom

Today, , 16445 Los Gatos Blvd., is a vibrant campus of 637 students and 27 classrooms in grades Kindergarten through fifth.

But, did you know that prior to the current campus being built in 1949, the school already existed? 

The evidence is found in this photo from the Baggerly (John and Barbara) Collection of the Hooked on Los Gatos, the Library and Museum History Project.

In the black-and-white image you see pupils sitting at their desks turning sideways as if to pose for a photo that would transcend a century.
