Los Gatos Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Tonight!

Religious observance will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos on Shannon Road.

Los Gatos' annual Interfaith Thanksgiving service begins at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, tonight, at Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos, 16575 Shannon Rd.

The service, open to the entire community, is put on by various faith groups in town and is held at a different worship house each year.

"Come worship God with our neighbors across the spiritual spectrum as we celebrate the Thanksgiving season," the notice on the PCLG's website said.

A reception will follow in the church's social hall.

Nonperishable food donations will be collected for Second Harvest Food Bank, and a cash offering will be donated to the Stop Hunger Now! interfaith teen event on Dec. 8. at Congregation Shir Hadash in Los Gatos, 20 Cherry Blossom Lane.

It's wonderful that all these faiths get together and share the holiday. What a nice tradition.
