Bob, the Lost Los Gatos Chihuahua Puppy, is Found

1-year-old pooch ran several miles away from his house, but was found seven days later at Ace Hardware on Los Gatos Boulevard, according to its human parent.

The "lost-dog" fliers were sad and they were plastered all over town at the end of August.

But there's a happy ending to this story.

Bob, the Chihuahua puppy, who went missing on Aug. 22, was found seven days later on Aug. 28 after the fliers went up along Lark Avenue, Los Gatos Boulevard, Ohlone Court and Roberts Road.

"Someone found him by the Ace Hardware store and they saw our posters and called us," said the owner, who declined to give her name.

How did Bob get to 15300 Los Gatos Blvd., where the Ace Hardware is located?

The 1-year-old canine apparently ran there, but was found in good shape, according to its owner.

How did he survive during the seven days he was gone? Owner doesn't know, just said her pup is a strong hound who's got an adventurous spirit about him.

A flier is still up on Ohlone Court, but it's just because the owner hasn't had time to take all of them down.

So if you see one, just ignore it. Bob, the chihuahua pup is home.
