Congregation Beth David, Congregation Shir Hadash, Temple Emanu-El, and Congregation Sinai present Sababa! 7-9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Addison Penzak Jewish Community Center, 14855 Oka Rd., suite 201. The group is comprised of popular Jewish recording artists Steve Brodsky, Robbi Sherwin, and Scott Leader. Members and non-members are $5 presale, $7 at the door. 4. The , 4 Tait Ave., presents Renovated Reputations, a free multi-faceted exhibition of recent paintings by Kenney Mencher, 7-8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3. The presentation, which runs through Jan. 5, includes readings of fiction inspired by the artwork, jazz performance and dancing. The "meet-the-artist" reception takes place from 5-6 p.m. and it's for museum members only. Mencher is a painter and a professor of art history and studio art at Ohlone College in Fremont. 5. "Traps, Maps, and Money Belts," is the name of this exhibit which highlights many of the Museums of Los Gatos' collection items and images from the Hooked on Los Gatos collaborative photo project.
