Silicon Valley Reads 2014 Presents Off the Page: an Evening of Video Poetry

You are cordially invited to attend the premiere of a video poem version of “A Family Album,” the poem compiled by former Santa Clara County Poet Laureate Nils Peterson from lines submitted by county residents.  The video version of the poem features Silicon Valley photos taken by news photographers from the Silicon Valley Community Newspapers and is narrated by community leaders.

It will be shown as part of a Silicon Valley Reads event on video poetry called “Off The Page” on Thursday, Feb 6, 7:30 p.m. at the Visual & Performing Arts Center, De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino.  It is free and open to the public.

Please plan to attend and, if your line was one of those that make up the “A Family Album” poem, let your family and friends know that your creative contribution to this community poem will be celebrated.
