Osteoporosis Exercise and Education Class

Osteoporosis is a
condition where there is a reduction in bone mass and weakening of bone
structure such that bones become fragile and can easily fracture.

This
four session class will teach the necessary tools to help prevent

osteoporosis-related fractures and provide education about proper and safe

exercises to improve your strength, balance, posture and body mechanics.


Classes
meet for 1.5 hour sessions, once per week for 4 consecutive weeks and are
taught by El Camino Hospital Physical Therapists with specialized training in
Osteoporosis.


Dates:

Wednesdays beginning January 22, 2014 to February 12, 2014
Time:

3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Fee:

$50.00 for 4 sessions which includes all materials

Requirements
People
attending this course must be able to get up and down from the floor. Mats will
be provided for each participant.
