Los Gatos High School Gold Ribbon Club - Luminaria sales for Childhood Cancer Awareness Day

Los Gatos High School's Gold Ribbon Childhood Cancer Awareness Club will be hosting the second annual Childhood Cancer Awareness Day in Los Gatos on Saturday, October 12, 2013.    Last year the club sold over 6oo luminarias at $5 each to raise funds for www.okizu.org, a free pediatric cancer camp for kids, their siblings, and family, and www.Sarcomahelp.org, The Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative.

Please come buy your luminaria/luminarias this Saturday.  The cost is $5 per luminaria.  You can make your donation in honor/or memory of a loved one.  In addition to the beautiful luminaria display on CCAD, many Los Gatos businesses will be participating by donating a portion of their proceeds on that day to www.Curesearch.org, one of the largest, most respected childhood cancer organizations that promotes awareness and provides funding for much needed research.   A list of participating businesses will be posted in the next few weeks and we encourage you to support these businesses and tell them how much you appreciate their participation and support.
