Freedom of Flight - Core & Backbends with Pearl Wang
Core, core, core! There is always an aspect of core conditioning in flight. However, in this workshop, we focus on how core conditioning exercises can be fun and playful. Yes, really!The balance aspect in flight helps to build strength in a variety of ways making core work fun again.
CORE CONDITIONING & BACKBENDS: This workshop includes a series of postures focused on opening the heart center. In Flying Lotus class, the use of the fabric gives us a medium to allow for a variety of postures that support the back. This enables students to experience opening the heart center while resting in the material. There is a lovely compliment between the natural pull of your body weight and the gentle support of the fabric in a variety of backbend postures. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.
