Girard Winery & Eruption Tasting
We're looking forward to January 16th because of our free tasting from 5:30pm to 7:00pm! We will be pouring delicious wines from Girard Winery and a blend called Eruption. The wines will be available for purchase during and after the tasting for a discounted price.
Brassfield Estate makes the 2010 Eruption, Propietary Red Wine. Volcano Ridge Vineyard is located on the steep slopes of an extinct cinder cone at 2,200 feet above sea level on the eastern end of High Valley. The pure volcanic soils are ideal for vine stress, restricting crop yields, and making wine that has both intensity and elegance. Big, lush, rich & round, the 2009 vintage received 91 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.
Girard Winery has been making delicious wines for over 30 years in Napa, with a tradition of producing highly-rated wines. Gaining critical acclaim for excellent wines at great values, both winery and winemaker Marco DiGiulio have been repeatedly hailed by the Wine Spectator & others as among the best in the region.
