Free Manu and Et Cetera Tasting

On Wednesday, November 28th from 5:30 to 7:00pm, Rootstock Wine Bar is hosting a tasting with Manu and Et Cetera wines.  The tasting is free and includes small food pairings.  The wines featured will be available for purchase during and after the tasting at a discounted price.

In 2008, five friends since the early 1970s, formed Et Cetera Wine Company: Mark Beringer as winemaker, Harry Merlo the viticulturist, Davis Duckhorn in charge of Finance, Matt Miller doing distribution, and Stéphane Nadalié as the cooper.  With varying wine industry backgrounds and areas of expertise, the five have joined together to produce wines of exceptional quality from the great wine region of Northern California. The intent of Et Cetera Wine Company is to create what the friends were brought up around – great wine value. Their story is not of succession or nostalgia. It is a story of doing what they know, and doing it well.

Manu, the Maori word for both bird and kite, reflects the best of what New Zealand wine has to offer. The Manu logo represents the hallmarks of Manu wines: craftsmanship, elegance, and the pure nature of New Zealand.  Committed to environmentally friendly practices, Manu is accredited by Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand.
