Monday's gray skies over the Bay Area are expected to clear up by Tuesday, and warm temperatures are coming back later this week, a National Weather Service forecaster said.
A cold front moved in to the Bay Area Monday, with light showers and mild winds felt throughout the region.
Temperatures for Tuesday are likely to be in the mid- to upper 60s.
On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise to the mid-70s in San Francisco, and will likely reach the 80s on the Peninsula and in other parts of the Bay Area.
This weekend, there is a chance of rain, and temperatures are expected to drop.
