Of the 30 votes cast, Los Gatos Nailworks got 19 of them, followed by La Mode, with six votes and Tsume with four.
Los Gatos Nailworks spokeswoman Charlotte Brown said the business has been in town for more than 25 years and has a faithful clientele in town and out of town. "We're honored that people appreciate our work here," Brown said, adding that they promoted the Readers' Choice poll by telling their customers about it and posting it on the shop's Facebook page.
The nail shop is owned by Los Gatos resident Valerie Speno and offers a variety of health and beauty treatments such as massages, eastheticians who provide waxing, facials and skin treatments. Its nail services include manicures and pedicures with different gel services and acrylics, from Minx pre-printed patterns for nails to Shellac gel, which lasts longer without chipping, Brown explained.
"If it's popular, we've got it," Brown said.
