The Los Gatos High School varsity football team. a.k.a. the Wildcats, the No. 2 seed with a 6-4 record, open the Central Coast Section Division II playoffs with a home game at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Helm Field, 20 High School Court. The Cats are playing against the Pioneer High School Mustangs. The home field advantage was earned last Friday, when the Cats beat the Saratoga High School Falcons by a 28-10 score.
The Los Gatos-Saratoga 55-Plus Program invites older adults to a free Thanksgiving luncheon 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, 208 E. Main St. The feast is presented in partnership with C.B. Hannegan’s and the Los Gatos Lions Club. Door prizes will be offered. Families are invited to the Los Gatos Art Museum's exhibition "It’s Personal: Stories Visualized by Asian American Women Artists" noon-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 4 Tait Ave. The exposition documents a vignette of Asian American women artists that represent the confluence of the past and future with work that is relevant and approachable.
