The Los Gatos Saratoga Recretion 55-plus Program presents a musical evening with the 10th Avenue Swing Band at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, 208 E. Main St. Come dance, listen and socialize the fourth Friday of every month in the center's large hall. It's a fun evening of live music compliments of the 10th Avenue Band. Light refreshments and door prizes at every dance. Music styles include jazz, Big Band, swing, and more. Ballroom dancers can request two-step, salsa and more. Recommended donation of $5. Draw Me a Story, organized by the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, presents original works of art in a thematic and nostalgic trip through the history of children’s book illustrators and illustration techniques. Storytelling in Pictures: From Idea to Art is an original exhibit organized by The Museums of Los Gatos that showcases the work of 21st century Bay Area children’s book illustrators.
