Los Gatos Town offices will close on Friday, Dec. 21 through Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 for a combination of unpaid furloughs and holidays.
The Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Department staff will be on stand-by for emergencies.
Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police services will be limited to regularly scheduled patrol shifts, and dispatch services. The records office will be closed.
The Los Gatos Library will be closed Dec. 24-26. It will maintain regular hours Dec. 27-30and then close again Dec. 31 through Jan. 2, reopening Jan. 3, 2013.
For garbage and recycling pickup provided by West Valley Collection: December 25th 2012 and January 1st 2013 fall on Tuesday; during these weeks if your regular collection day is Tuesday, your collection will occur on Wednesday. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday collection will also occur one day later.
All Los Gatos schools will also be closed Friday, Dec. 21, beginning their winter recess Dec. 25 through Jan. 4, 2012. Students return to class Jan. 7, 2012.
