Why Go: Celebrate New Year's Eve and ring in 2013 with a four course dinner from Chef Marty Cattaneo. The restaurant will offer two seatings (6:00pm – 8:30pm; 8:30pm – 2:00am). Guests at the second seating will receive party favors, a midnight complimentary Champagne toast and can dance the night away when the bar opens up onto a dance floor with a live DJ.

VIVA RESTAURANT

Why Go: The restaurant is offering two New Year's Eve party seatings. The first one is from 4-7 p.m. and will include selections from its regular dinner menu with along with holiday specials. The second “Celebration” seating is from 8-10 p.m. The band The Cruzers will perform in the main dining room starting at 9 p.m. and continue through 1 a.m. “Celebration” patrons will also receive party favors and hats.
Pricing: The late seating involves a three-course meal at a cost of $89 per person, plus tax, and a guaranteed seat until the New Year with a glass of champagne until 1 a.m.

CIN-CIN WINE BAR & RESTAURANT

Why Go: This is a highly rated establishment known for its excellent offering of contemporary cuisine with an impressive international wine list and innovative cocktails. Wines by the bottle will be 50 percent off on New Year’s Eve. Reservations are recommended.

CALIFORNIA CAFE

NUMBER ONE BROADWAY
Where/When: 102 B. South Santa Cruz Ave., 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 31
Why Go: If you're looking for an elegant bar scene and nightclub experience, this is the place for you. Celebration will feature live music with "Sage." It will also include party favors, hats and noisemakers. There will also be a midnight balloon drop.
Pricing: $25 cover charge.
Where/When: 50 Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31
Why go: A “We’re Bringing Sexy Back” New Year’s Eve dance and party. Performing onstage in the El Gatos Room will be Sexy Back cover band featuring veteran Bay Area musicians. DJ Yoni Wunderman will spin party and dance music hits at the bar. Patrons are encouraged to dress in their sexiest duds.
