Deadline to Order Thanksgiving Meal at Los Gatos Markets Fast Approaching

No good at cooking turkey? Still love that feeling of gathering around the family table? Several grocery store delis offer cooked turkeys—and whole menus—but don't delay, since the deadline at some of these stores is today.

 

If the prospect of roasting a turkey in the oven just doesn't appeal this holiday or your kitchen's in disarray, local grocery store delicatessans offer variety and ease at Thanksgiving.

Want free-range? Organic and free-range? Chinese-style turkey? Need sides and pie? They've got your Thanksgiving table covered.

There's still time for Whole Foods' Diestel turkeys, even though today is the last day to place your order. But they are also available at Trader Joe's and Safeway markets in Los Gatos. 

WHOLE FOODS MARKET, 15980 Los Gatos Blvd., 408-358-4434: Diestel turkeys available in different sizes. A large roasted turkey for 10 people, weighing between 14 and 15 pounds is selling for $85. Order by end of today, Monday, Nov. 19.

15466 Los Gatos Blvd., 408-356-2324: Cooked turkeys available to pick up anytime until Thanksgiving Day priced between $30 and $40.

SAFEWAY'S three locations in Los Gatos at 15549 Union Ave., 408-559-5750;  1500 Pollard Road, 408-374-2050;  470 No. Santa Cruz Ave. 408-354-9708. Store will be open until 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving meals being offered which include turkey weighing between 10 and 12 pounds, with pumpkin pie, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce for $44.99.
