San Jose resident Christina Conner is hoping town residents will help her find her lost dog Buddy, missing since June 9.
She's posted large placards along Saratoga-Los Gatos Road with a picture of the little black, tan and white canine and the offer of a $1,000 reward to anyone with information about the animal's whereabouts.
Conner explained her dog disappeared after her friend was babysitting it last month at a home near Bainter Avenue, by the fire station and La Hacienda Inn on Highway 9.
Its breed is Chihuahua but Conner said Buddy also looks like a mini Pincher.
Since Buddy may be scared and hard to catch, Conner said she's happy to pay $50 for a cell phone picture with location information, if it is Buddy.
