1935 Villa Arquata Restaurant

In this black-and-white historical image, the world-famous resort that existed on Central Avenue in Los Gatos more than 100 years ago can be seen in all its glory.

Villa Arquata Restaurant originally opened as Villa Ceccanti in 1907 and was known by that name until 1932. Named after the owner of the property, it was part of an Italian village, which later became the Florentine Village at 42 Central Ave. in Los Gatos.
