Deputy Sheriffs' Association Welcomes Law-Enforcement Questions at "Day on the Bay" Festival on Sunday, Oct. 13, in Alviso

Anyone with a question about traffic laws, how to report crimes, landlord and tenant responsibilities or law enforcement in general is welcome to stop by the Santa Clara County Deputy Sheriffs' Association booth 135 at Supervisor Dave Cortese's "Day on the Bay" multicultural festival on Sunday in Alviso.

"We'll be happy to answer questions and made referrals," said DSA vice president Roger Winslow. "Several of our members with a wide variety of expertise will be on hand. We also have prizes for people who can correctly answer our own quizzes."

The event begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. at the Alviso Marina County Park. It features entertainment, free health screenings, barbecues and arts and crafts along with face panting, fire trucks and kayak trips in the Alviso Slough.

The DSA represents the deputy sheriffs of the county.
