Deputy Sheriffs' Association Distributes Six Shiny, New Bicycles to Kids at Moffett Field on Sunday, Dec. 15

Six shiny, new bicycles will be under the tree on Christmas morning for children of military families at Moffett Field thanks to Turning Wheels for Kids and the Santa Clara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.

DSA members rolled out the bikes on Sunday, Dec. 15.

“We felt like the Deputy Santas’ Association,” said DSA vice president Roger Winslow.

“These are among the bicycles we helped assemble at the Big Bike Build in San Jose on Dec. 7." The DSA made a donation to the group to purchase the bicycles.

“Everyone knows that zipping around the neighborhood on a brand new bike is one of the best things about being a kid,” Winslow remarked.
