Share the Love: Support Our Schools on Valentine's Day

LGEF needs donations to fund $1.6 million in grants for programs in music, art, science, technology and student support services for LGUSD schools for 2013-14.

The Los Gatos Education Foundation has taken on the aggressive goal of raising $1.6 million to maintain and expand Los Gatos Union School District programs in music, art, science, technology and student support services, for the year 2013-14.

The district has asked LGEF to inform them by Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, of the total funds LGEF can commit in order to make staffing decisions for next year.

By law, teachers must be given notice of termination by March 15. Currently, LGEF is unable to fund all of the requested personnel grants for 2013-14.

Thank you to everyone who has already made a donation to LGEF this year. If you have not yet donated, LGEF hopes you will consider making a gift. Tax-deductible donations can be made securely online at www.lgef.org in single or recurring payments.
