Coding camp for young children

Knowing how to code is like having a superpower! And it is fun to learn. Code for fun is offering 2 camps that focus on teaching children how to become a superhero and create their own game. We demystify computer science and show children that it’s fun, collaborative, and creative. Children will learn an overview of computer science (hardware, software, internet, email), computational thinking, and programming (writing commands, conditionals, functions). No previous exposure to programming is necessary.

The time is balanced between time on the computer and "unplugged" activities.

Duration: 1 week, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM

Extended Care available: 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM (no fee) and 4 PM - 6 PM ($5/hour)

Student Age: 7 to 10
