Runners and Bikers: Get the benefits that Yoga can offer to help you keep active and healthy!

Yoga for Athletes is offered every Sunday at noon at Breathe Los Gatos Yoga Studio!

The main goal of the YFA class is to both strengthen and increase flexibility of the major muscles used in repetitive endurance sports: hips, quads, hamstrings, calves, achilles, ankles, and feet.  In addition, it includes work on balance, core, and mental focus.  Your goals in training and competition can be achieved through form and breath - what is your most efficient and economical form and fullest breath available  in order to stay present even in intense situations.  The YFA flow is a sequential routine with specific yoga poses and stretches designed for athletes and those of us whose flexibility is challenged.  With the improvement you will experience in balance, flexibility, strength, and focus the result will be improved performance, injury reduction, and faster recovery.
