Where Do You Fill Up in Los Gatos When Gas Prices Shoot Up?

Pump prices in the San Jose metro area have risen 58 cents per gallon the past month. Where do you fill up?

Now that gasoline has jumped more than a half dollar a gallon, is there a station you've found in Los Gatos that isn't as expensive as the others?

Let us know in the comments. Your neighbors will appreciate it.

The commute page on Los Gatos Patch shows an array of prices around town. A cheap price can be difficult to find. There are the ones listed:

  • $4.12, 76 Gas Station, 15380 Los Gatos Blvd.
  • $4.12, 76 Gas Station, 15171 Los Gatos Blvd.
  • $4.13, Lark Ave. Car Wash/Chevron, 16500 Lark Ave.

We took a picture of the Rotten Robbie gas station price board at the corner of Gateway Avenue and Los Gatos Boulevard, which listed a gallon of regular unleaded at $4.15.

In California, gasoline prices have risen 57 cents per gallon the past month to an average of $4.22 for a gallon of regular unleaded.

In the San Jose metro area, gas prices have increased 58 cents the past month to $4.18 for a gallon of unleaded regular. That price is up 10 cents in the past week.

Why have gasoline prices risen so sharply? Is it seasonal? Is it supply and demand? Is it manufactured? Here's one blogger's opinion. Give us your thoughts in the comments section.
