Wow. Los Gatos kids are asking for toys from Walmart and Target? Perhaps we should educate them on shopping local, like at The Wooden Horse, Automobuild, For Boys and A Girl, Babybuzz? Those stores employ locals, help our schools with sales tax, and bring in far more unique and special toys than the cookie cutter ones you mention.

As a local business owner, I admire and agree with Melissa... It is our job as parents to start education with our children now.... We all live in this town because it is unique and different. The only way to keep it that way is to support the small retailers. We appreciate our customers and love this community too!
