Patch Main Street Meet-Up Is Full

Los Gatos Patch is pleased to announce that business coach Eamon Rooney will join us at next week's  to work with local business owners on how to improve their online presence via social media.

Our event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 26 at the , 123 Los Gatos Blvd.

Rooney has more than 500 connections on Linkedin and is a certified business coach at ActionCOACH Business Coaching where he helps professionals execute simple ideas and principles leading to guaranteed results. He's also the winner of the Best Client Results Award, the Americas, 2012.

Meanwhile, Los Gatos businesses continue to sign up for our first a free workshop for local entrepreneurs and community organizations who want to improve their online presence via Patch and other forms of social media.

We'll set up learning stations about social media, business directories, blogging and telling your story online. Participants will also enjoy assorted breakfast rolls, fresh fruit, assorted juices and coffee and tea provided by , which has served the local community for almost 20 years and is the on-site caterer for the Opera House Banquet Facility. We'll conclude the event with fun door prizes and cool Patchy swag.

We’ll be helping participating business owners claim their Patch Places listing page on our site, a free service that you can use to better promote your business. And if you’re already an active Patch user, we’d still like you to come and help the Patch team learn more about what works when it comes to navigating the web. (

Reviews so far of previous Main Street Meet-Ups, held throughout the Bay Area, have been stellar, with more than 120 participants giving us high survey marks and feedback that they found the event extremely valuable.
