Having the right sporting goods and accessories to stay physically fit is important to Los Gatos residents, most of whom lead active lifestyles.

With that in mind, this week's Readers' Choice poll asks, "What's the best sporting goods store in Los Gatos?"

We're lucky in town due to the presence of a number of specialized sporting outlets that cater to cyclists, runners, golfers, tennis players and other athletes. Each store sells shoes, apparel and a variety equipment to help us practice the sports we love.

The winner of this poll will be determined using a point system based on the most verified votes together with the best ratings in businesses' directory listings.

If there is a tie, the business with the highest number of positive reviews in the listings and comments in the Readers' Choice article will be declared the winner.

Voting results posted in real time shall not be deemed official until Patch has reviewed and confirmed all of the votes.

Voting is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Winner will be announced at noon Friday and will receive a "Readers' Choice 2012" certificate.
