New Baja Fresh Mexican Grill restaurant, which opened Jan. 3 at 15466 Los Gatos Blvd., suite 111, won the with a few caveats.
One, it wasn’t a scientific study. Two, was unfortunately omitted from the voting and three, yesterday, when Baja Fresh learned of the poll, it had only received a handful of votes.
Coming in second place was which has two locations at 6 and 21 No. Santa Cruz Ave.
Los Gatos Patch reader Gwen Reandeau, first to respond to the favorite-Mexican restaurant query, wrote in the comments, "I like Taco Bell, esp. the 99 cent menu, since I don't eat much anymore, being a 64 year old female with a small build."
Another Mexican restaurant authority, Julie Berry, said, "The food at Andale's is really delicious, however, we've always enjoyed going for group parties at Pedro's over the years. It's a fun place to hang out."
Elizabeth Morales Vasquez said: "Pedro's is a great place to eat!"
And griped: "O K, I'm Mexican. I Pedro's is not Authentic Mexican Food. It's Def' TEX-MEX. Between Adales & Una Mas come the closes to being Authentic Mexican Food."
