Pamper Your Tootsies on a Budget

Come & Go Foot Station offers total 'spa experience.'

Some of my friends in the know swear by a no-frills spa called . If you’re looking for the total “spa experience” with cucumber water, fluffy robes and aromatherapy, this place is probably not for you. If you’re looking for a little “me” time that won’t break the bank, read on.

Come & Go Foot Station specializes in the ancient healing art of foot reflexology which originated with the Chinese, Japanese and Egyptians. The practice involves applying pressure to areas of the feet which are said to correspond with our body parts, glands and organs. Stimulating these pressure points is said to improve one's general health. Along with foot massages, Come & Go also offers full body, head, hand or combo massages. If you want to go the Gwyneth Paltrow route, they also offer cupping.

Prices are reasonable (a 35-minute foot massage costs just $15; a 70-minute foot and body massage is $25). Keep in mind that the masseuses at Come & Go speak Chinese primarily, and that treatments take place in a communal room while patrons are fully clothed. (Sweats and tank tops recommended.)
