New Year's 2014: Macy's Two-Day Sales Ad

The gift-giving season is officially over, Santa’s presents are unwrapped and now shoppers with gift cards are hoping to cash in on Macy's popular New Year's two-day sales event, which begins Friday, Jan. 3.

The popular fashion and "affordable luxury" retailer is wooing customers back to its stores with the much-anticipated annual event that starts at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3 and continues until 10 p.m. that same day.

The deals are offered again starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 until 10 p.m.

The big draw, however, is the three-hour "doorbuster" specials from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 and the four-hour shopping spree 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.

Some doorbuster items include sweaters for $14.99, dress shirts or ties for $19.99 and 20 percent off regular and sale prices on select items for women, men and children.

The sales extravaganza advertisement includes two Macy's "Wow" coupons for $10 and $20 off all sale and clearance apparel and select home items with purchases of $25 and $50 or more, respectively, per customer, according to the retailer.

There's also free shipping at Macys.com with $99 online purchases. No promo code is needed, according to the retailer.
