A new beauty supply store has opened at one of the five suites that now make up the former Domus location at 40 No. Santa Cruz Avenue, suite B.
Los Gatos Beauty supply officially opened its doors Nov. 18 of last year, but it's just recently gaining more customer visits, said assistant manager Alyssa Robles.
The business carries your typical professional beauty supply products as well as accessories and jewelry. However, there's no hair salon inside.
"We have a lot of foot traffic," said Robles "We haven't done much advertising so it's just people walking by." "We're doing good. We have so many people stopping by and checking out the store."
The business, managed by Megan Heykants, also carries high-end skin-care lines such as Dermalogica, Murad and Perricone.
Top make-up lines include Jane-Iredale and Too Faced and top nail-polish brands are OPI, and Essie.
The store also features an impressive selection of hair appliances such as blow driers, flat irons and curling irons ranging from Hot Tools to Sedu Ionic and hair-care products such as Redken, Paul Mitchell, Pureology and Joico.
It's the only beauty supply on North Santa Cruz Avenue, so that's a good thing, Robles said. However, there are others in town.
