The Maids' Quarters and 36 No. Santa Cruz Ave., celebrated their grand re-opening party Thursday in downtown Los Gatos and welcomed two newcomers to their "Fred Segal-like" co-op shop.
Debbie Walker, Croll's sister and The Maids' Quarter owner Claudia Mann's other daughter, has now opened The Garden Shop in the garden backing up to The Maids' Quarters, 34 no. Santa Cruz Ave.
There you can find plants, fountains and pots among other garden accessories.
Walker will be renting the space out for birthday parties, bridal showers and other events.
Andrea Blackwell of Blackwell cosmetics has also joined the group with her custom makeup and skincare shop.
Blackwell has been an expert in her field for more than 20 years.
About 475 people came to celebrate the evening with the local business women.
"It was a lovely party," Croll said who re-opened LBD in August.
Croll opened her first clothing store in Los Gatos under her name in 1994 and launched Little Black Dress because Amazon approached her to be part of its high-fashion focus on Amazon.com, she said.
Customers can purchase the LBD items showcased on Amazon at the downtown location. The clothing pieces come in various sizes for different silhouettes and body types. The silhouettes are also available in specialty one-of-a-kind fabrics, she said.
Croll is also highlighting in her new space local designers' artwork, jewelry pieces and other fashion items such as Judy's Buckles and Baubles and artist Natellie Saia.
